Fall Trend : SCARFS!

For today's post, i decided to talk about one of my favorite fall trends, and that is SCARFS!
i used my favorite site Polyvore to create this montage of my favorite scarf colors for the fall! I tried to find the most affordable yet great quality scarfs i could find, due to you guys requesting affordable looks! All four of these pieces would be great for most skin tones, i did try to arrange different style of scarfs as well. starting with the forest green Topshop scarf, retailing for about 32$ this one is a triangle shaped scarf which draped over your chest,  recommend this one to people who are planning on pairing it with a zip up or button up coat due to its length. My second and favorite pick being the Maroon Topshop one retailing for once again 32$ i would pair with a neutral or gray colored cardigan, which i would not button up. the infinity scarfs have been very popular recently, and are by far my personal favorite. The burnt orange H&M scarf retails between 8-15 dollars, i like this color a lot, it definitely screams October to me! i would pair this one with a leather jacket and a flowy chiffon shirt. Last but not least a navy scarf with neutral heart print, super girly yet subtle, the navy is perfect for any skin tones, yet fall like, due to the darker color. This one retails for around 22$ on tobi.com.

Hope you enjoyed this post and have a wonderful rest of your day!

Top 5 Essie nail polishes FALL EDITION!

Although I might not have shown you all my obsession for nail polish before I do like to tell you about my favorites! For fall 2012 I have picked 5 Essie nail polishes I find perfect for fall, they aren't part of a new collection I have had these for a little while, so hopefully you can still find most of these in stores!

The first color I have picked is one of the easiest colors for anyone to wear all year round. And the color is SAND TROPEZ it's a perfect sandy nude. I personally love this color, and it goes with everything and looks classy.

Second color up is a perfect army green, called SEW PSYCHED they describe it as a olive green color. I find it could make some skin tones look a bit sickly but for most part it's great it has a lot of pastel undertones with makes it very wearable!

A really nice warm color for fall is brown, it seems like fall is when all colors like the leaves and the grass sort of end up brown. To me browns are hard to match up with my skin tone so when I found this HOT COCOA shade from Essie I thought it was perfect, like the name it is the exact same color as hot chocolate powder.

VELVET VOYEUR is next. It is a deep deep purple color, it is very jeweled toned. Nothing much else to say about this It is one of my favorite fall colors. This one does stain my nails so I do recommend a good white or clear coat!

My very favorite color I have chosen this fall is one called IN STITCHES it's a beautiful dark blush color with red, orange, pink undertones it's a very unique and soft color. I find it looks very nice on all skin tones.

I hope you all enjoyed this blogpost if you have any fall themed request leave them in the comments down below or via any social media sites!

Jergens Natural Glow REVIEW!

A long time ago I used up a tube of the light/medium skin tone daily body moisturizer, and I didn't think very much of it, I didn't see much difference in my skin tone, although I remember liking the smell I decided not to repurchase it. Since summer has been over and fall is slowly coming upon us, I have been on a hunt for the perfect AFFORDABLE self tanner/ tanning lotion.

Since last time i used this product, it wasn't giving me any results i opted to try out the medium to dark skin tone version. As always before applying a tan, i exfoliated my skin, and let it dry for about 30 minutes. Since this product is a lotion, and a gradual tanner i applied it with my hand, making sure it absorbed evenly everywhere, as soon as i was done, i washed my hands thoroughly!
I waited for it to absorb and dry, then i put dark clothes on, to make sure no stains would happen, and i went to bed.
The next morning i was very impressed to find a very Natural looking glow! It seems to me that this product pulls to a more orangy color, which can be very bad for certain people, who might already have those colored undertones. Although i find that the amount of color was pretty impressive, after only one usage. I was a bit scared that if i applied it again the orange would come out more therefore i have concluded, that this would be a great "pick me up" between other self tanning sessions.

I will further on try to work with this product, see what other techniques i could use to apply it. If any of you have tried it out, let me know in the comments down below!
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!
