TIP TUESDAY!

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS, LIGHTEN YOU HAIR WITH THEM :)

As a lot of people, in the summer, strive for blonder, or simply lighter hair. But salon treatments can become costly and damaging for your hair. I have a simple trick to help you out.

1- Cut about 6 Lemons in half and squeeze the juice into a spray bottle.

2- Add 1 cup of warm water.

3- Add 1tsp of olive oil to the mix. (unless you have a very oil scalp)

4- Shake Shake Shake.

5- Apply to hair before sun exposure.

The sun will hit the lemon juice on your hair a create 'natural bleach" lighter shades in your hair. This procedure can be a bit drying for some hair types therefore i recommend a good moisture conditioner Afterwards.

If the desired look is to be a bit more highlighted/streaked then a one color, apply the mixture to certain pieces more then others. Has a perfume bottle ever exploded in your purse and such? have you ever had to leave your favorite perfume at the airport. are you simply tired of hauling around your big sized perfumes? Well i sure was until i saw the "oh so raved about" Travalo, I KNOW you all have heard of it.

First time i saw the Travalo was on Youtube, then i started noticing them everywhere i went, from in the stores to people using it in public places. I recently received a Tavalo Excel which is the 65 spray one, for review. I was sent the gold version, which i like, gold is always super classy, and this newest version comes with a protective case, which, personally am not a fan of, because it takes away from the practicality of the product but i do know i still will be using in for when i go on longer trips, not just for when it is in my purse.

 The packaging is cylindrical and sturdy. The outer cover is half transparent and half print and inside is the main bottle.

POSITIVES:

* Traveling, date night, in your purse, after the gym.

* It is airline friendly and lasts up to 65 sprays

* I love that i am able to mix scents that i love, together.

* They have great colors so you can color corespond the perfum to the bottle color, which i think is cute.

* They are affordable, around 17 dollars, where i have seen them.

* One of my favorite things, is that you can see how much perfum you have left in it, due to a little window.

* Travalo Excel is available in 10 beautiful colors to match different fragrances, outfits and moods.

NEGATIVES:

* Tricky to clean at first, but i find that i use a teeny bit of hand sanitizer and warm water and i fill up a old empty body spray bottle, and i fill it like i would do if it was perfume, and spray it out afterwords.

FINAL VERDICT: 

I really enjoy the practicality of this product i think it is a great tool to have. i recommend this product to all you who love to wear scents, but hate the inconvenience of them! Due to the fact that i love the concept I will be purchasing additional Travalo excels to hold my other perfumes in!

MARLEY'S MELLOW MOOD REVIEW!

Once again, i am reviewing tea for you guys today, as you might know if you follow me on twitter, i have difficulties sleeping. When i saw my friend talking about this drink i thought it sounded pretty good, but i didn't know if it was going to work for me, since i actually cant sleep. So i went out to the store purchase every kind they had there, they were about 3$ each which is really good. 

HERE ARE A FEW OF THE INGREDIENTS:

              

I slept like a baby when i had this, i slept extremely great every night i take one about 20 minutes before i want to sleep, and i stay asleep all night and wake up feeling super relaxed. They taste amazing, which is great and they are all NATURAL.KEEP IN MIND They are the kind of drink you only take if you want to sleep, or else you will be super drowsy.

I recommend this product to anyone who enjoys tea and sleeping!

Yes, tanning still isn't safe but, i know you all tan, or would love to have a tan. Here is my TANNING TIPS:

OUTDOOR TANNING... 

MY FAVORITE:

If you're tanning outside:

Wear sunscreen. Sunscreen is an absolute must.  Sunscreen has an SPF factor, which is the number of times you're being protected by the sun's harmful UV (ultraviolet) rays. This means that sunscreen still allows you to get a tan; it just makes tanning more gradual and prevents you from burning.

Re-apply. You need to apply sunscreen approximately 20 minutes before going outside, and re-apply if you go into the water, even if your lotion is waterproof.

Do NOT use oil.  oil is literally asking the sun to radiate your skin and fry you.

Do not get burned. Speaking of getting burned, people erroneously believe that a burn will fade away into a nice tan. This could not be more false. A burn will cause your skin to become all blistery and splotchy (since a sunburn means you have broken blood vessels), and your skin will just peel away to reveal the next layer.

Think gradual. The best attitude when it comes to tanning, You will not get a great tan in one day, but you will after several days of being exposed to the sun.

MEGA PLUSH MASCARA REVIEW

Today I'm reviewing the, Maybelline mega plush mascara. As you all know this is the newest mascara Maybelline has come out with, the packaging is as always the cutest. This time they came out with the mint green and purple, which mint green is super on trend this spring and summer. I am usually a big fan of Maybelline's mascaras, my all time favorite is their One by One mascara! When i heard this was coming out i researched it a little, i was excited that it was for volume and that the bristles are the classic bristles not the rubber ones, although the One by Ones bristles are rubber, i prefer the classic ones. The wand also comes with a joint in it to allow more bending.

My Thoughts:

I have been using this for a bit now, and i have to say i am disappointed, BUT, i do still like the product.

i think this mascara is perfect for summer because it makes your lashes look so natural, i didn't find it voluminous at all but it is extremely lengthening on my lashes. It does help hold a curl even in really hot weather which is once again great for summer! One thing i don't like is the bend in the wand, i think you lose a lot of control because of this modification.

I like that this product is very affordable, and i think the results could have been better IF they had added more bristles to the brush!

If your one who has A LOT of lashes already you will love his product, and i still recommend it to anyone for a more natural but lengthy look.

TIP TUESDAY!

Exercise might seem cliche to you when it comes to feeling better, but trust me when I say this. It helps! Even if you aren't trying to get fit or lose weight or anything exercising will get you in a better mood, and out of those lazy moods. Wether you go on a walk for 30 minutes or a jog, basically any type of physical activity will help you live a better life. And unconsciously it will motivate you to do more:)

So go out there and get out of the slump! Tell me what exercises you like and what works for you!

Hey just here to tell you about one of my favorite juices at the moment. The Tropicana raspberry lemonade is so tasty and has 50% less sugar and calories. Picked it up one day didn't think anything of it, but yes it is amazing! Try it out let me know what you think!

Olay REVIEW!

Hey guys so today I am making a different kind of review. My mom purchased this product for herself because she had run out of her previous face wipes. She purchased the Olay 2- in-1 daily facial cloths, thinking they were the original wet wipes. She told me to do a review on them because she was so dissatisfied. So I did myself test the wipes but not on my face because they are scented. But after applying my makeup I took one of the wipes and applied water on it since they are dry cloths and it just started foaming and being super liquid. Then I wiped the makeup off of my hands and it didn't even work good at all I still had foundation residue. My moms main complaints were that one they were dry not wet and no where on the package did it say that. Second of all you have to rinse your face after using these( so she could simply be using her face wash) and three they didn't work well. They leave your face or for me hands not feeling fresh! With all that said neither mom or I recommend this product to you guys. It's inconvenient and not very functional!
